18-9 in June, 57-22 .721 overall. 1st place AL East 5½ game lead.


We struggled in the early part of June then played well, struggled then finished strong. While we do have holes, we still have the best team in the EBL and could go deep into the playoffs. Sharks played unworldy until the last week of the month.


July's schedule is fairly easy. We finish up 2 games @ HL, which is now a WC team, then go to a slumping GC team for 4 then 3 @ 4th place WB for 3. We host a bad MAD team for 3 then we have the All Star break, which i am managing. After the break we host GC, PON & EC each for 3. none are contenders. We finish the month with 3 @ ATS. We will know who will be on the team going into August, September & the postseason that final week.


Ramos & Thomason struggled badly in June. i am not ready to give up on either P. I doubt that we will move from Ramos as the #5 unless we have an injury to the other 4 and he might be a trade piece. Thomason will be given every opportunity to finish the season with us in July but if he continues to struggle i can either trade him or Waive him. We could have 4 SP on the All star team and could add 2 RP.

Berra & Kendrick have been very good since i acquired them. Young, Humbert, Eidsvag, Tarlac & Kat have all been solid to great. Kournikova, while her OBP is great at .411 she hasnt stolen as many bases to this point as she has the last 2 seasons. part of that is that the C we face have better arms and she has struggled offensively when some of the bad C are in. Overall though, i am happy how she has done. Goddard has been very good vs RHP, very bad vs LHP. Wise is a good role player and solid on D but has struggled vs RHP lately. Tugger is my biggest concern. He was awarded a long term contract after his fantastic season last year but has struggled on D at key times and has very little power this year. Sadly what he is doing now is what I predicted him to be originally but after last season, I figured that I was wrong. Hopefully, he can finish strong.

Kool Kat led the team in WAR in June. Young had 15 HR. Goddard struggled but he goes to the bench going forward.

Otani & Johnson were tied for the month in WAR. Nikolo, Tomkins & Boskovic were lights out. As I mentioned, Ramos & Thomason struggled.


Kendrick has been great behind the plate so far.
Young has been great at 1b. Humbert will play 1b at least 1 game every series in July. Young will DH or play RF.
Eidsvag has been just ok at 2b. Wise has been great.
Kat is a GG candidate
Tugger has been slightly below average at SS. Benz could come in as a defensive replacement.
Kournikova & Eidsvag are blow average in LF & Cf. Tarlac is great in RF.


A look at our depth. Tigris is still injured but could make the team out of ST next year.

Rf Dusty Collier L/L #16
Dusty comes to us from the La Seraphs for Lf Luis Salazar & 2b April Duncan. Dusty can play all 3 OF spots but he is best in the corners primarily in Rf. He was enjoying a 2nd good season in a row with LA. He has played for several EBL & MLB teams and was a solid 4th OF. He will start in Cf vs RHP & Rf vs LHP. He can hit for good AVG and can run very well. He has little to no power.


SS Mercedes Benz R/R #9
Mercedes re-joins the team and will be the 5th IF. She is an excellent defensive SS & 2B but is good at 3b as well. She can also play some LF & Cf. she has great speed.


Jose Gallegos takes over at SS at Middleton.


No clue when Tigris will be back but Bazin, Trzashias, Shanahan & Israel are great 2-5.


Rusyl will miss 4-5 weeks and we lost Patrick for the season.
