"Other Miscellaneous"

Does anyone know where this "Other Miscellaneous" expense comes from?

I know the "Miscellaneous Player Expenses" a couple rows above it stems from releasing a player or paying a buyout.

I have done some digging, but nothing makes sense. I thought it came from my released players from last year, but another team with this issue, those numbers don't match up like my $12.5M do.

Any ideas?

Stadium maintenance, ballpark staff pay?

Those are my best guesses

Every team would have these expenses then, only a couple do.

International spending limit penalties possibly?

Thought that too, but have only signed one IFA for the $3M cap in the last two seasons, so no penalties for me.

Mostly, it's "whatever needs to be there to get the numbers to line up". Think of it like the mystery meat of your finance page

It tends to come out when there's a mismatch between your starting balance/previous balance, and our currently calculated cash on hand. Generally speaking, it shouldn't happen, but mostly likely is related to any sort of cash transactions (buyouts, cash from trades, etc...) which can potentially get put into the wrong columns.

If you can figure out where it comes from, let me know and we can see how to allocate it properly. I'm not saying it comes from a bug, but ideally that line item should never show up

I don't know. To me this looks like the bills for booze and barbiturates to make this team bearable ...

@Captaincoop17 - In your league you have a Maximum Starting Cash level of $20,000,000. The $12,500,000 in Other Misc is being taken from you at the start of the off-season to get you down to $20,000,000. The same is true looking at the $3,013,094 that was deducted last year.

Additional things that might show up here are any commissioner adjustments that are made. In our league we can do stadium upgrades, send coaches to seminars to upgrade them, and we have to pay for each Rule 5 Draftee we take. There are also league fines, penalties, and such that would be included in this number.

That's not true, the cash taken by the owner is reflected in the current year cash from owner being negative.

I also don't know what changed in mine. As I add cash each year to offset some of what the owner takes as if he is an owner more interested in winning than making cash. And at the beginning of the year until at some point that amount was the amount that I added in. Then at some point dropped by a lot, I am guessing at the end of the regular season/end of playoffs.
And not remotely close to the amount taken by the owner at the beginning of the current year.

I guess I will just keep a spreadsheet each year of the cash that is magically disappearing and if I need an influx of cash draw from that.
