Giving Meaning to the Lower Minors

As the manager of the major league parent club, I tended to disregard my minor league rosters (aside from my stud prospects.) I filled the positions with a bunch of 20/80 minor leaguers that meant nothing to me, and I'm sure you do the same.

The way I've injected a little more meaning into these rosters is by going to 'game settings'-->'See player ratings relative to [AAA/AA/A+/A-/Rookie]. All of a sudden, that terrible AAA pitcher becomes a 60/80 in A+ and a nice asset towards the record of that club (not that your minor league records matter much in the grand scheme).

Does anyone have any tips for adding meaning/strategy to all levels of the organization?

Having feeders and only letting those players stock your majors rather than letting the game generate them.

I love the ratings relative to league feature. But I don't really have your problem because I like my minors more so than my ML team to be honest.

I would suggest reducing the number of levels if you don't care much for them
