League is a waste of time, the commish has a reputation for cheating
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...f-opening.html I wish I knew about this before joining (or quitting lol), there are far better online ootp 16 experiences than this, normally I wouldn't complain about a league I'd just cut ties with them; but after allowing multiple roster errors (in playoffs against his team) and losing players with no fair resolution. I feel it's my duty to0 warn anyone looking for a fair league that SFA is to be avoided. |

No cheating going on. You didn't like that the commish had proof you were incorrect in your assumption that you had exported and you didn't protect your rule V players.
Quit crying and slandering an honest commish because you didn't get your way. Just move on and leave it at that. |

I would have to completely disagree with the earlier post. I have been in this league now for a little over a season, and have the best experience of any of the leagues I have been in to date. The owners are the most active from any league, and I do not see any instances from Steve running the league where I question his integrity. His goal is to create a thriving league, which he has done, and does not do anything to sabotage any of the teams in the league. Mistakes do happen, to all of us, but I have never seen any intentional mistakes from the commish. If you want to join a fun, competitive league that is run extremely well, SFA is the league for you.

I really like the SFA league and feel like we have a really good core group. Being the Commish is a thankless job, but I believe the majority of the GMS feel like this league is run as well, or better, than any other league we are in.

SFA league
I have had a great time in this league and no issues with the commish. I am always harassing him because of the evil empire is his team, but have never been treated poorly! Go Birds!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure where the SFA hate is coming from. Steve's scrupulously fair with how he deals with the league, and I've never seen any indication of anything even resembling cheating. I'm sorry Kronos had a bad experience, but there's nothing wrong with the league-- and certainly not with Steve as a commish. He works hard, keeps everybody involved, and treats people fairly.

ill will???
I have have been in two seperate leagues commisioned by steve and have never seen any evidence of cheating or anything even cose to an unfair practice. He tries very hard to give us all a very friendly and fun place to enjoy OOTP. Why anyone woud cheat or acuse of cheating in a game we all use to enjoy our time and try to experience the great sport of baseball as best we can is beyond me. There are many great GM's in the SFA and we interact all the time. I would join this league again 10 times out of 10. I learned how to play this game in Steves leagues and with his help. Great place to play and learn so come on in guys/gals...you won't regret the decision.
