RDBL Starting 26th Season

Available Teams-

Colorado Rockies
Chicago White Sox
Seattle Mariners
Arizona Diamondbacks
Minnesota Twins
Oakland A's
Miami Marlins
Washington Nationals

We have a very solid core of owners who have been in the league for a long time. We use Slack for our communications and OOTP online utilities for the amateur draft and year end awards. With equalized markets and a salary cap, an involved owner can turn a team around in 2-4 seasons.

This is constantly updated, so if they are listed here, they are available as you read this!

The league has been around 26 seasons for a reason. Most GMs have been in it 10, 15, 20+ seasons because it's a great group and experience and the Commish is dedicated. It is fast-paced, so you can rebuild and reshape your team quickly and often in real life time. The salary cap isn't restrictive, but the cap and even budgets does keep it a really fun and fair playing field.

Great league, I have been in it since year 2017 and it keeps evolving and getting better. Recently we have started to implement young players such as Acuna, Kingery, Dansby Swanson etc.... Great for any age group with sluggers from Babe Ruth to Aaron Judge in the league!

Well run league, long running

I have been part of the RDBL going on 4 years now in real time. From the 2014 season through the recently finished 2043 season. The league is well run with sims every day.

It is a fast paced league with consistent attention required and very competitive. Many GMs with two titles, some with three.

The fast pace means that drafts consist of current players, all time greats and those guys you kinda remember from the 70’s-80’s-90’s. I’ve had Sandy Koufax, Walter “the Big Train” Johnson, Ted Williams and Barry Bonds on my team’s roster at different times. It’s fantastic for baseball history fans.

The best part however, is the great group of GMs who have been around for 10, 20, and some coming up on 30 seasons. It makes the league entertaining, even when you lose the World Series two years in a row.

Come join the challenge

We're wrapping up the 2044 season and need some fresh GMs to fill in our league. Now is a good time to get in before free agency, rule 5, etc.

A variety of teams are available ranging from teams that are going to make the playoffs this season, others that are ready for the playoffs, mediocre/500 teams, and awfully mismanaged teams that have been bad for years.

Everyone here is great and most of the current GMs are long time members. Easy communication via Slack. Draft and some voting in Statsplus. Fast paced, sometimes two sims in a day. Players from all eras as well as fictional players.

We should be moving to OOTP19 soon so if that's a problem for you then this might not be the league for you.
