I've had the auto-recalc hang on me before too. It seems to be a bug, and only happens really rarely and with specific leagues, but when it does happen, I don't know how to fix it at all

You're fine on that, it certainly will help

You shouldn't absolutely need to hit the autocalc button for the league totals to still work fine. Just enter them and they should work without hitting the autocalc button.

I gave different advice to someone else earlier in the thread, but after a discussion with Markus while adding adding the int leagues to the game and dealing with the modifiers for them, my current understanding is that only the league totals need to be changed, you don't have to hit autocalc for them to work correctly. I may be wrong or have misunderstood, but I think that's the deal.

No disrespect intended but if that was the case then Autocalc would be superfluous.

Maybe so.

Like I said, I'm not entirely sure, I'll have to try to see if I can find the conversation that made me think that was the case...

What is your league date? How many teams? Roster size right now?

Autocalc simulates approx 3 seasons internally so it can be affected by league and roster size, but not to the point you see.

April 15th....I have every single team in professional baseball from short season thru the big leagues...with an average of 25 per roster

OK I may be completely dumb here but unless your season starts later than April 15th, Autocalc won't work. I'll admit I'm having trouble following this so my apologies.

If your leagues are already underway you could look at the partial season output and make changes to the modifiers manually. It does involve comparing league output to real life and calculating a modifier. I can show you how to do this.
