See? The #2 spot is blessed. I'm sorry you didn't move him back there a little quicker.

He had actually started the year in the #2 spot but moving him around finally got him hitting.

His slash line is now .281/.426/.469 as of July 27th. Batting 2nd, he's a monster, hitting .344/.470/.591 in 64 games. He's worst batting 5th.

1) Move your order around
if doesn't work
2) Fire your hitting coach
if doesn't work
3) fire your manager

Won't help, but you'll feel better

Disappointing season for my team overall as we finished 80-82.

Jorge eventually turned it around but I still wanted more obviously

Final Stats: .303/.436/.526 8.4 WAR 166 OPS+

There's a reason why the Angels put Mike Trout in the #2 spot.

I try to watch that Batting Average on Balls in Play. It is my look into bow random luck has been treating players.

Pure genius! I was having the exact same problem. Last year's MVP was in a horrible slump. I moved him up to #2 and he caught fire! Increased his BA by 43 points in four games after struggling for 2 months.
