Navigating the 28-man active roster
I just made it to the 2020 off-season, and I'm stumped as to how I should handle the fact that I no longer have 40 spots on the active roster when signing free agents. I feel like this could lead to unnecessary or premature cuts. Has anyone done any testing with temporarily setting the expanded roster size back to 40 for the off-season. IIRC, this is how it is in real life. Effectively, when I'm signing new free agents, I am forced to make cuts that I may otherwise wait to make until the conclusion of spring training.

The way it's been in the past, is that the limit wouldn't actually be a "limit" in the off-season. You'd regularly run into your roster saying 30/25 or whatever. Haven't played enough this year yet to see if it's any different. But try just adding someone even if the roster is full. |

I’ll try that. To be honest, I never went past 40 on the active roster previously.

I was able to add more to the roster than 28. Never knew I could do that.
