Drafting signing issue

So I held my draft last night and accidentally lowballed my 2nd round pick. He was listed as extremely hard to get, so I wanted to go over and above his requested signing bonus, but by mistake I entered one too few 0’s (150,000 instead of 1,500,000). Obviously he rejected this offer.....

I do have commissioner mode enabled....anyway to edit him to show as part of my organization as if he accepted my offer???

You should be able to submit a new offer after the original has been rejected.

In that case I'd us my Comish Mode powers to put him on your lowest minor league team. It was an honest error.

Yah that’s what I’m planning, it was late when I looked last night....but I could not find how to do that?? Somewhere in the edit mode screen?

Under the "EDIT" screen on the top left (under the player's basic information), you can adjust what team they are on. You have to select the league and the team.

Not sure what I'd do in this spot but I can see an argument to let that stay since honest mistakes happen for real as well. Could be just another part of the story. Maybe he forever carries an unjust grudge against your team...

That sucks. Since I'm in challenge mode I always have to triple check before I click off. Wish the draft screen took you to a contract screen like every other time you sign somebody.

Would make it a lot better to read. I mean even the International Amateur Free agents go to the contract screen.

Like why does every single thing having to do with a contract for any player take you to the contract screen except for draft picks? It just doesn't make sense, why the inconsistency?

Inconsistency is the one huge nagging problem I have in XX these days. I don't even care about any huge improvements or new features. I just need total consistency between all screens, views, cards etc.

Same thing for customization. Drives me crazy why some screens, views, filters etc are customizable but then you get some that are static.

Really hope OOTP 21 has some kind of reworked GUI to make it consistent in functionality and more customizeable in areas that aren't.
