Having pre-ordered for the 1st time, I'm quite excited for tomorrow!!
Is there an approximate release time in play for tomorrow?

I'm in the USA on the East Coast.

We won’t get an answer, in part because the servers would most likely crash if a million people were trying to download at once.

you'll get an email when its ready for you. they try their hardest to get it out as quick as possible, try to be patient, i know it's hard

Markus...Make it so! The man can't live without his game (although the pain meds they put him on may create a bit of a losing streak if he doesn't watch it ), and really why should he?

they usually send the e-mail to one block of early subscribers around 9 am, then an hour later the next block and so on. It could be 9 am or 3 pm

It should be prior to noon your time. I've pre-ordered since... 12? I can't remember, but it hasn't come later than noon central time. Usually it is when I'm still sleeping, like 4am. I'm not sure how he distributes the pre-orders, but I'd expect it about when you wake up. And if you are going to take time off of school or work, wait until Tuesday to be safe.

But we have the key assuming we just need to download ootp and put it in unless?

Yes, you will need to put the key in, but there will be no download link on the website until Thursday. So you'll get an email from OOTP with the download link inside which is for pre-orders only.

OOTP 17 was at 8:58 AM, CST
OOTP 16 was at 7:05, CST

Could be middle of the night tonight, all the way to midnight the following night, I guess?

The key you will receive is the same you'd receive if you bought the game Day 1. I believe you get 2 licenses that last forever. I have one OOTP on my desktop and one one my laptop. It's very convenient, but I wish they'd add cloud storage.

If you have strsm adds ootp 19 to your none steam game. Now any computer you login through its their if I can recall.
