i don't have the HR's that those leagues must have. that first guy is maintaining a .700 slugging. i'm not sure if i have a >.600 career slugging guy in my HoF.
i had a generated player get to 4987hits and i think 833hr.. 800some, nonetheless. played 23 years, got to leage at 19. i was watching his last few years as he approached 5k... just petered out at the end.
getting into mlb by 19-21 is significant to setting career records... otherwise you need some crazy good luck with age. only a few make it to 45, and those may or may not be elite. so many factors with career records are less about excellence and more about longevity. if you play 25% more games you don't have to be as good to reach same numbers.
Koufax is perfect example. 5 years of dominance, 1 good year, and 2or3 of ??? breaking in, i guess. There are plenty of players that have better total #s, but nowhere near what he was on the mound, regardless.
