United Baseball League of America

Okay, new to OotP 19 (Coming from Ootp 17) and decided to just do a simulation fantasy league where years are simed away. I know some might find this to be the most boring thing in the world but I just want to run it for decades and see how it sims out, grows, and develops the league.

United Baseball League of America

Founded in 1871, the United Baseball League of America is set up to unite the Southern Baseball League, the Texas League, and the Northern Industrial Leagues.

Sixteen (16) teams are selected for inclusion. They are split into the national and american leagues, and western and eastern divisions.

NL East

Boston Codmen
Charlotte Copperheads
Brooklyn Riggers
Atlanta Fire

NL West

Kansas City Railbirds
Cincinnati Peacemakers
Salt Lake City Saints
Chicago Green Socks

AL East

New York Titans
Milwaukee Lakers
Baltimore Longshoremen
Pittsburgh Ironmen

AL West

Huston Riverrats
Dallas Mohawks
Austin Capitals
San Antonio Alamos

I will most likely sim in 5 year chunks or if something major happens like new teams or teams moving.

Of course, if anyone is curious about any teams, and want to start rooting for them, Let me know, but I know this is just more a test and see what happens in the league.

Notes per year

Quote:
1871 SLC def. PIT 4-1 for WS
1872 SLC def MIL 4-0 for WS
Roster increased to 42
1873 MIL def CHI 4-1 for WS
Expansion teams after season- The Philadelphia Crawdads (PHI) (NL West) and Phoenix (PHO) Jackhammers (NL East) - No I did not goof up the locations.
1874 MIL def SLC 4-3 for WS
1875 MIL def ATL 4-2 for WS

Notes - Milwaukee Lakers are the team to beat, having been in the WS 4 times in a row, and winning the last three. They are lead by a top short stop named Matt Wilson. The National League doesn't know how to expand, placing a western team in the east and a eastern coastal city in the west.

Future updates will be ~20 years since I decided I wasn't going into a lot of the details and just posting ending results.
