Shub has taken over the last GM spot but anyone is still very welcome to sign up on the waiting list since the elague will likely to expand once the teams fill up.

Sunday 6/1/2003: illinifan pitched great, wins Pitcher of the Month award
The best month of May in the GFBL certainly had Juveniles' right-hander i illinifan, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. His record of 4-0 in 5 was among the leagues best this month. In 36.2 innings of work he allowed just 23 hits while striking out 36, compiling an ERA of just 1.23. i fired two shutouts! This season illinifan compiled an ERA of 2.68, going 7-2 in 10 starts. He fanned 64 while giving up 66 hits in 74 innings. i has pitched 2 shutouts and 3 complete games. He's 2nd in the GFBL in ERA and 1st in wins!

Sunday 6/1/2003: Batter of the Month honors go to Juveniles' matt221334
Juveniles' catcher m matt221334 had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the GFBL Batter of the Month. He had an on base percentage of .490 and hit .451, while driving in 29 runs. matt221334 has walked 20 times this year and posts a .440 OBP. While batting .386, 68 for 176, he has driven in 57 runs. He's 1st in the GFBL in batting, 1st in homeruns and 1st in RBI!
Congrats to our second player of the month award winners.

News Flash!!

Juviniles made some huge signings today signing CF dbacks to a $7 mil / 4yrs deal and CL trident to a $4 mil / 4 yrs deal, both including various bonuses. The first place Juviniles are vertainly making some huge news these days.

However these deals make a lot of sence to me since trident is by far the best saver in the league and dbacks is among the best batters in many categories including average, rbi's and hits. He is also dominating in the SB category.

You got that right. Signing me and giving me the money I deserve was a very smart move by SirOrion. Obviously he wants to win.

I'm very happy to be staying with the Juveniles for the next 4 seasons, SirOrion has a proven track record of keeping his players happy. I look forward to winning ring after ring with dbacks and SirOrion at the helm.

Well this league was made to give people at the graphics forum something to do and to courage everyone to come back to the forum more often. You need to interact with others a lot either by posting or PM'ing. There are 4 teams with finances on and 20 players (so far) on every team so there's nobody getting benched or sent to the minors. As more people joins, I'll create more teams and expanding the league. As a player, you will be able to decide anything you want to do wit your alternative self including contracts, team to play for, strategies, spring training....etc

Check my link in my signaturte for the forum, and the league site is here: http://members.shaw.ca/worldcupbaseball/home.htm

Feel free to ask any more questions.

The Felons' roster is almost filled up and I am thinking of having an expansion team next season. One problem would be the odd number of teams. The schedule will have to be changed. The best solution would be to have every team play 161 games and have one team playing 160. And if we do expand, metskid will be the first on the list to take over the team. There will be no expansion draft, it will be a sign-up type of thing like how we are doing with the felons right now. Let me know if you guys want to expand. And also if anyone has any concern, questions, comments or even suggestions for the new team name please feel free to post them. Thanx.

Hey, Sorry again for the delay, anyways, I have updated the files and the pages. Trading deadline will lie in the next sim so if any of the GM's would like to make a deal or two to boost his team for teh playoffs please do so before Saturday midnight.

Also another reminder is that all teams are filled up now so all new players are entered as freeagents. Please check them out. If there's no responce from the PM just let me know and i'll let you deal with the AI. Please at least let the PM sit for a week before you decide to deal with the AI. Thanx

This sim was a great one for the Storm as metskid continues storm's winning ways (currently on a 10-game winning streak) and almost "officially" clinched the secodn playoffspot. The Juves just kept running away from the rest of the pack and is now 27 games from being bumped off the playoff spot. The Jailblazers had a great 2 weeks as well. Under dbacks management, the Blazers cruise past the Felons and is currently sitting 2 games in front of the Felons for third.

scoobz has been awsome for the Juves. He may be another rising superstar for the stacked Juviniles team. On another note truthserum was injured on Sunday 7/18/2003 :

Quote:
JUV: t truthserum was injured while pitching.
Diagnosis: Strained Tricep Muscle.
He will be OK in about 5-6 weeks.
That's all Good luck to y'all next sim.
