Players duplicating up in a standard game save

I just bought an Anthony Swarzak on the Auction Market and when I flipped back to my Blue Jays save file it pops up with a message saying "The Toronto Blue Jays have a player (Anthony Swarzak) who is not assigned to any roster. Please go to the team transaction screen to handle the situation".

I believe you can have only one version of a player on your team that is activated.

So to make sure I understand, you exited the PT area, then loaded your normal saved game, and then you got this message?

I was coming here to report a very similar bug.

In Perfect Team, I put Curt Casali on the auction market and bid on Andrew McCutcheon.

Then in my regular OOTP saved game, they both appeared as players on teams! They stood out because of their '0 years' age.

I'd been switching back and forth between game modes a lot within OOTP by going to the start screen.

That is correct Markus. Happened twice. First time I had two Teoscar Hernandez's on my team. Second time I had Anthony Swarzak and there was one on the Mets I believe.

Also had this happen in my save. Happened with Warren Morris for me after I had sold him in my PT

Its seems to happen when I make the player inactive on my PT

Same happened to me when I made a player inactive on PT. Mine is a random debut offline where it happened.

Fixed in next build. For now, log out of your account before loading solo games.
