Doubt it. They still have to nail down all the rules that the NFL uses. Maybe you could be able to use it with fictional players in the upcoming version.

Canadian football won't be in the game anytime soon I guess. From what I remember, the rules are quite different, starting with just three downs instead of four (if I remember that correctly).

Yeah, 3 downs not 4, longer field (110 vs 100), and an extra player on each side are the biggest difference (a few smaller ones like more motion in the backfield allowed, the rouge single point for missed FG, and other stuff as well but most of that is less critical).

Not more motion, unlimited motion. No fair catch but a 5 yard space allowed for the kick returner (no yards penalty). A 1 yard gap between offense and defense. Other big things are 25 yard end zones: think of what that would do to the NFL; and a 60 yard wide field. Many former NFL QB had trouble with sideline passes, or quick drops in the CFL (Vince Ferragamo that means you). For the record nobody has called the single point a rouge since the 1950's.

Actually, it's 20 yard end zones (thank BC Place for that change). The width of the field is 65 yards, and if you watch the TSN coverage, the single point is called by it's proper name (rouge) all the time.

Also, a rouge can be scored on punts and kickoffs as well, not just missed field goals.

So the commentator says, "and there's a miss wide right and the ball rolls out of the endzone for a rouge".

In over 40 years of listening to TV/radio broadcasts of CFL games I never heard it said. I'll stipulate I'm not a recent (5-10 year) consumer so it could be happening now. Just seems silly.
