Stats Suggestions

I only saw OOTP8 so if this has been added now my apologies.

What about stats showing average, on base percentage, and slugging percentage by position in the batting order? Batting 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.?

Also, does the game track spring training statistics now?

Those are both serious stats-tracking additions which I think could be made.

Not in front of the game now, but I'm almost certain stats by batting position is in the game.

ST stats have been in the game for a while now.

not sure i understand the use of the stat, and am curious since i never look at it... do players behave differently depending of where they bat? obviously my lefty masher 1B will have way better stats batting 4th then 7th, but this is because of the L/R matchup...

Well, I could point to Baseball Reference as evidence of how this stat is realistically tracked for real-life players:

Prince Fielder Career Batting Splits - Baseball-Reference.com

Now, whether or not it is affected in-game I am not sure, but it does seem like player stats fluctuate based on where they are in the lineup. I have guys who hit well for power lower in the lineup but when moved up do worse, and guys who do well in the middle but can't hit from the 2 hole.
