We have an opening in Washington. PM or email me (pbdlcommish@gmail.com) if you are interested.
The Capitals have put up a worse record every year since the inaugural 2013 season and now find themselves in the lowest tier after finishing 8th in Silver in 2015. The team has several holes to fill, but probably the most glaring need is the pitching staff which is severely lacking both in the rotation and bullpen. These problems are compounded by a weak financial picture, at least in the near term. This team would be ideal for someone looking for the ultimate GM’ing challenge as it will require a good bit of creativity, aggressive use of the waiver, and bold trades to accelerate the turnaround in Washington. The team has a couple of intriguing prospects, but the organization really will need to be rebuilt from the ground up to be competitive again. All that said, an attentive GM and a few tweaks should make the team at least halfway competitive in the near term and in turn provide a better draft lottery position and improved financial picture.

Last sim of regular season is Sunday, still need one GM. Great time to get in as you'll have the whole off-season to begin shaping your team.

Hi guys,
Long time OOTP player here....LOVE the relegation model. I have done that a few times offline, would find it alot of fun to do online. Do you still need an owner? Would be happy to talk over PM if you like. Thanks! Matt aka Pike |

Edit: Filled for now.
We have an opening in Washington. Be forewarned that this team is in need of serious work, patience will be required. Email is best way to reach me - PBDLCommish@gmail.com The Capitals have been in a serious decline ever since the inaugural 2013 season. The team now finds themselves in the lowest tier and the team has yet to finish better than 6th place. This team desperately needs stable leadership as it has experienced a revolving door of GM's to this point. The team has several holes to fill, but probably the most glaring need is the pitching staff which is severely lacking both in the rotation and bullpen. These problems are compounded by a weak financial picture, at least in the near term. The good news is that the team has several expiring contracts in 2017 which will allow a new GM the financial flexibility to begin the turnaround.

We have an opening in Nashville. This team is a project as well though not quite as bad as Washington. Email is best way to reach me - PBDLCommish@gmail.com
Nashville has a couple of key pieces on their active roster to build around including guys like Dennis Clark and former first overall pick Sixto Villegas. The team also has a few more interesting prospects rising through the ranks. So while this team has been stuck in Bronze since the inaugural season and has yet to post a winning record, there is hope for the future. Finances are a little tight, but an ugly contract (C Jim Horton) will roll off following the 2018 season and that will open up significant flexibility. A new GM will need to quickly get up to speed in order to use the money available for extensions wisely as there are several potential free agents that will need to be evaluated. With some lineup tweaks, the team also may be able to make a push out of 8th place this season and thereby improve their chances in the upcoming draft lottery.

Nashville is still open and we have an opening in Ottawa as well. Nearing the end of the season, great time to get in and start shaping your team as the offseason approaches. Email is best way to reach me - PBDLCommish@gmail.com
Ottawa has one of the more interesting back stories. They have managed to keep themselves in the Gold league through the PBDL's first five seasons, the first three of which they finished 1GB of a playoff spot in 5th place (two of those by losing play-in tiebreaker games). Then they finally broke through in 2016 finishing in 3rd but failed to make it out of the first round. Unfortunately, 2017 has not been kind to the Sens and the team finds themselves buried in last place and is likely to finally be relegated to Silver. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though. The team desperately needs to be retooled and the much softer competition in Silver should provide the time and resources to do that. The team has several interesting young prospects even though they are still several years from the majors and has some major league talent that could either be traded or hung on through the retooling years ahead. Financially the team is in ok shape and most of the key players are locked up through at least 2018. With a bit of creativity and hard work, this team should be very competitive in silver in 2018 with the hopes of returning this team to the Gold league soon.

This is my second season in the league and it's been very enjoyable so far. Every sim has been on time and the trading block has been active. Overall things move at a very nice pace.

Still looking for GM's for Nashville and Ottawa (see team summaries above). We are in the playoffs so you can still get in before the off-season begins.

Ottawa is still open and I'm posting an opening in Chicago. Off-season starts tomorrow. You won't find a more engaging league out there, hit me up if you are interested or have any questions. PBDLCommish@gmail.com
The Blackhawks are the first and only team to date to have a Triple Crown winner play for them in Alfredo “Bucky” Rodriguez. Fueled by Bucky’s incredible offense in 2013, the Blackhawks snuck into the playoffs but faded hard after significant talent declines to a couple of key veterans. Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2017 were swiftly met with first round exits and the team is still trying to figure out away to escape the lowly bronze division. While the team remains on the older side, they do boast the best young starting pitcher in the entire game in Brian 'Wonder Boy' Arnold. This kid has one of the best arsenals of pitches ever seen and should set all kinds of pitching records. Overall, there are plenty of interesting pieces on this roster and a prospective GM should have quite the challenge figuring out how to manage it all into a winning team.

We have filled Ottawa and Chicago. Looks like we have an opening in Toronto so let me know if you are interested. Still in the off-season with the amateur draft just completed.
Toronto has been a team that has been predominantly stuck in Bronze. They did have a breakthrough season in 2014 that saw them finish first and gain promotion to silver. But a highly anemic offense wasn't enough to sustain them in that league and the team saw themselves demoted back to Bronze the following season. They have since made the playoffs two consecutive years and appear to be a team on the rise given a very strong prospect system. The team further augmented the system with some very solid draft choices in the most recently completed draft. With the right attention to detail, this team should have no problem regaining promotion to Silver in the near future.

Opening in Dallas. 2018 playoffs are about to conclude so perfect chance to get in at the beginning of the off-season.
Dallas started in the Bronze League during the inaugural 2013 PBDL season but rapidly climbed the ladder behind the strong pitching of ace Noël Sicard, who is undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, pitcher in the PBDL. At only 26 years of age, Noël should have a multitude of record breaking seasons left to pitch. The team won a Gold Championship in 2015 but despite making the playoffs in every year since then, the team has failed to recapture the magic in their bid to win a second Gold Championship. The team has a very strong core to build around including the likes of LF Bernard MacAusland and 2B Alberto Ortiz. The team remains financially strong and despite the recent success, still boasts a prospect system with some interesting young talent. All in all, this is a good team that needs some refinement in order to win that elusive second championship.
