2010 Teams from Lahman
Will 2010 teams from the Lahman database import into OOTP 11? And if so, what am I doing wrong? I get the historical team import failed message each time.

Is there a way to rig the Lahman database so that the game thinks it is importing the 2009 teams instead? I tried erasing everything but the 2010 player lines in the Hitting, Pitching and Fielding tables and changing the 2010 dates to 2009, but it still doesn't seem to be working for the import.
I'm also skeptical of getting it to work because Lahman seems to have changed some of the names of its' tables for the new edition. |

OOTP has not used the standard Lahman tables for several versions now. It uses tables based on the Lahman stuff but with lots of extra stuff stuffed onto the end of them. So changing dates don't get you where you need to be. Plus Mr. L does change things up from time to time anyways.
I'd guess it might be just as right to say Mr. Lahmans files are a subset of the OOTP files. |
