Seattle Storm

The Seattle Storm are now available.

An interesting team, as they're in between rebuilding and contending. You decide which path they take. And, have a couple of the most electrifying players in the league:

COMPLETE REBUILD OPPORTUNITY

This team SUCKS. 27-70. Not much to speak of in the way of prospects. The MBBA's home run king's career looks to have come to an end after a recent injury capped off a piss poor season.

The Omaha Barnstormers are now available.

73-89, 29 games out of first, the Barnstormers are a rebuild but not a horrible situation. There is talent, both established and young.

36 year old Jay Lee is one of the top pitchers in MBBA history. He can stay here and finish out his stellar career, or might bring back a player or two in return if traded.

Another 36 year old, infielder Lance Pere, is showing no signs of aging. He's a perennial .900 OPS guy. 30 HR this season.

28 year old catcherTobias Kelly is the future of the franchise, with two All-Star appearances under his belt.

This is the funnest, most active, best run league I've ever been in - bar none. With the history, community and overall atmosphere I'd honestly place this against any other for best league in the OOTPverse and feel confident... my only regret is that I can't have 3 more leagues like it.

The Seattle Storm are now available in the MBWBA.

We've just completed the switch to OOTP 14, and are just into the 2010-2011 offseason. This is the perfect time for a new GM to jump in and be able to impact his his/her new franchise immediately.

Seattle is rich in cash and financial flexibility, as well as rich in young bats. They need some pitching help, but there are pieces in place for an astute GM to make a mark on the Frick League Pacific Division in short order.
