I added a button to load in the player's career stats for viewing and added the color coding to it as suggested by Targy.
NOTE: It will display a player's entire career, but there is a button to show the SIM only stats. So, if you started your league in 1985, you would see all of George Brett's stats. If you click the SIM ONLY button, it would just show 1985, 1986, etc. The problems earlier with Targy was he had not selected the Almanac location. Use caution if you have multiple leagues that you have the right league selected and the right almanac. I will see if I can make that a little more targyproof.

One last thing, please do as in your other programs. list all the teams so we can click on the team and get all the players instead of looking through all the players

Select team after you see list of players The 162 Avg button shows what the player would have done if he had played 162 games (it bases it on PA for batters and IP for pitchers) When you display stats, it shows the player's entire history, even stats before the sim started. You can click the Sim only to hide the non simulated stats.

Thank you again. One more suggetion on viewing the stats. For Hitters can you add their Batting Average and for Pitchers can you add ERA unless I am not seeing it with my bad eyes

LOL.. I just added batting average and ERA and was going to post that I have added those items and the request was here to add that.
I also froze the year, so you can scroll to the right and still see the year.

Color coded the ERA (My crayons were broke, had to buy another box)
I also added the ERA to the season best, but that ERA is NOT the season best, but it is instead his lifetime ERA. Same thing with the batting average listed there, it is his lifetime batting average. The best season line is nothing more I am going to work on, as it would require listing the lowest value for some items and that is getting off the scope of this application. I just added the stats as a quick way to see how the guy is doing. I will be adding some more neat stuff. I want to get into the box scores of the no-hitters and other super games next, this will create HTML pages in a folder with the box scores for those games in there. Also, an ability to search for box scores in the almanac. Example: Run this option and it will create the following folders: No-Hitters Perfect Games 5+ hits 4+ homeruns 20 or more innings etc. The box scores would be renamed: box1999.html ----> box_seaver_perfect_game_06212003.html Then a sub menu would be created that listed them, like this: 05-22-2003 MARK BELANGER - 5 home runs 06-21-2003 TOM SEAVER - Perfect game Each line would be a link to the actual box score and of course, from the box score, you could go to the PbP, if it existed.

Change the almanac folder to a different location for each league.
For instance, create a folder called Almanac Mongo League and another one called Alamanac Panda Bear League (Substitute your league name, unless it is called Mongo) Inside each Almanac, a year folder will be created. If you do not switch almanacs, it can cause problems. But, because of the way the almanac is designed to use different almanac folders for each league, you can easily 'fix' things by just deleting the archived wrong information. The structure is as follows: ALMANAC Mongo League: 1987 HTML 1988etc..HTML so, the league you are trying to archive already sees a year that matches folder and it won't let you archive, possibly over writing what you have there already.

Added the retrieval of the no-hitters, now have to parse the line and go locate the box score. Fun stuff here now.

Ok, if you click on REPORTS PLAYER NO HITTERS
You will get a list of all the no-nos in your league so far. Click on any of them and it will bring up the box score for that game. I have not put in error checking, so if the box score does not exist, it will error. I also noticed that one box score came up with the same number as the last one. I have not trouble shot that. It is tricky. It finds the no-hitter in the team news page for that year. It pulls the date out and the pitchers name. It also grabs the rest of the info and sorts it out a little different, removing the links too. It then looks in the games.csv file for that season and finds games with the matching date. It then looks in that same line to see if this game has the starting pitcher as the same one that was in the transaction list. If it does find a match, it grabs that box score number and shows it from that year. Now I have to see why it is not finding the correct information for ONE game. But, first.. IT'S TIGER TIME

Try it now, as I added an error message if it cannot find the box score in question. See if you can see if the box score is there or not.

Nope, not the problem.
That deletes the box scores from the season that was just archived AFTER they are copied over to the almanac. Are you saving box scores in OOTP?

Does it make a difference that box scores start with the #1, there is no box_score_0

I see two problems. One is the // and the other is boxscore 0. Zero means it is not locating the correct game in the games file.
Back to the drawing board. BTW, it must list some box scores, does it error on all of them? Can you go to the almanac folder for that year, click on INDEX and then go to the date of the no hitter and locate it?
