Access Step by Step

I have created this step by step demo to export out the data and then import it into Acess and then the steps to do something with the data.

http://www.sim2005.com/Access/Default.htm

Let me know what you think of it.

Lots of pictures, so give each page time to load.

NOTE: This is just importing the data using CSV, not using the harder SQL stuff. Newbies should have no problem doing something like this.

HELLO! Not see you around (not that I've been around on here much) and was gonna PM you and ask if you'd joined us in the land of OOTP 2006.

Very glad you have. I don't give a crap what anyone says, your util for OOTP6 was awesome, and you didn't get nearly enough credit IMO. (Perhaps because you came in near the end of it's run.)

Looking forward to what you might have in story for us this time

This is great! I've dabbled in Access before, but really wasn't too sure what I was doing. I really enjoyed seeing it all explained to me. I'd definitely like to see more!

Very easy to follow, I may jump on the active newbie wagon this week.

Comedian,
You mentioned you might do more if there was interest. If you do, I would like to see how to use additional reports (ie. career batting). Not sure how to use them together.

Comedian,

IS there a way to get Access to automatically create calculations (expressions??) for you? I was thinking of something that would look at a players VORP and make some calculations (Career, Top 3, Top 5 consecutive and per 162). This is a play on the Bill JAmes system with WS.

Is that too complicated?

EDIT: I don't mean automatically create calculations, but perform those calculations after you enter them?

Did anyone save these instructions? I remember them being very good.

Also, anyone hear from Comedian recently? I know he posted about some health issues back in 2009, but said he had recovered. Hope he is well.

Not loading

The website link is not loading for me, has it changed? I'm really trying to work on getting reports to my Access2007 and nothing seems to work.
