Lance Haffner Football
What ever happened with Lance Haffner football? It was my favorite back in the days of my Commodore 64.

Agreed. I use to love this game. ActionPC football is similar to it right now.

I played all of the LH games back in the DOS days
I agree the PC Action stuff is excellent. Action! PC Home Page The only issue I have with the PC Action games is they are strictly replay games, no real GM features at all but the tactical play to play stuff is very, very good.

Do you know if Action Football has a demo anywhere?
I already own Second and Ten, which is a good replay game, so I'd like to try Action to confirm it's different enough before handing over $45. |

I dont think I have ever seen a demo for their games.
I did play second and ten a little and I preferred the Action games. but in the end none of the replay games hold my interest long enough and I always come back to the full sims like OOTP. Football from OOTP was an absolute dream come true for me, but it seems likely this will end up vaporware like all the other ones that have been announced over the years but never completed.

Yes I played -- Also Madden Online PC program - Also NFL Pro League Football from Micro Sports Inc. (1991)
Every time I got use to program it was discontinued or changed. Also played Front Office Football I played off and on-line with Grid Iron Glory. NFL sim , but the developer walked away. SO waiting for another game to fill the void --- and a College game also

If your open to online football games I suggest checking out myfootballnow.com. I'm currently managing a team in it and it's pretty good. If you do check it out I'm in league MFN-26 and we are just about to start the preseason. I believe there is still a team open in our league.
