internet play vs other humans in career league?

Will you have the ability to play vs other human in your league?

I really hope you have this..that is all that is missing from having a PERFECT game..almost like XOR

The main reason my buddies, myself, and many others online would like head to head online career ability to call plays is that there is only 16 games per year so it is not like 162 games

Please include this

I think I remember reading that online play won't be in version 1.

There's a lot of features to code already for version 1. I suspect we'll see online play in the next version but that's just my opinion.

No, online play will have full support in V1, although it may not be the best, per Brad. Not sure if it will really happen though.

I understand why ootp does not have this.. 162 games but football being 16 games I hope you can at least have the choice to play vs a human in a career online league..

That would be a PERFECT game for all my friends and I who live all over the world

Our hope is to have online leagues that function similar to the way they do in OOTP. However, head-to-head, where you're calling plays against your opponent in real time, won't happen any time soon.

That has been brought up RE OOTP, and my understanding is that the cost of implementing something like that is way too steep right now. Yes, we can see how much more valuable that would be in BTS vs. OOTP, where you have a 16-game season vs. 162 games (although it would be great for baseball playoffs), but it's still beyond our means right now.

That will be the only thing that "kills" my circle of friends and former fbpro owners from buying this game the lack of head to head play

What about if the commish could have players join his computer using join.me or something like netmeeting... 2 other players could login and play head to head.

Would that work?

Good question. I'm not sure. An online league commissioner should test this out and see if it would work.
