Anderson Utilities - AUStreaks
Another one comes flying out of the gate.
AUStreak. http://www.sim2005.com/AUStreak/default.htm A notes: What he calls a winning streak, I don't really consider a winning streak. Example: WON LOST WON WON NO DEC. WON WON WON He considers that a 3 game winning streak, where I would consider it a 5 game winning streak. He are trying to make him think different on it, and he is thinking about it.

Updated to show the team that he was on when he got the streak. (Unless he played for 2 teams or more that year, then it will show his last team)

I agree with Zeyes... I'd consider it a 3-game winning streak and a 5-game undefeated streak.

If I'm not mistaken, past versions have considered that situation to be a 5-game winning streak.

dola,
The MLB considers that a 5-game winning streak as well. IRL, Garland just had his 8-game winning streak broken despite having a no-decision in the middle of it. |

It's still a five game win streak. No decision means just that, the pitcher received no credit for a win or loss. Granted it's a little crazy, but you have to remember that MLB still considers the Giants 26 game win streak about a 100 years ago as the longest despite the fact that one game played during that streak ended in a tie (meaning they really went 26-0-1 during a span of 27 games).

New problem...everything has been working fine and I noticed a little situation with Saves...I had a pitcher with 16 consecutive saves and I thought this was great. I just did a new csv dump, opened the program and checked the save section and there is an active pitcher who has 6 conecutive saves, so I went to the all time saves and the pitcher with 16 consecutive saves is no longer listed anywhere

Is my program reporting the wrong information or is it OOTP?
I have not updated his program since the new OOTP patch, but I will look to see if anything has changed. This program just reads in data, it does not change anything inside OOTP. Quote:

Ah ha.. a bug.. good find...
It was just showing each player one time. So, it would not show active streaks and ended streaks. I have re-did that section of code and it now displays the correct information. A very good bug catch. And thanks for the tokens, they all add up and keep me going. Larry Run the program again and let it update and see the changes!

I hope that others read this and remember that you do alot of work to give us a free for use program. It just takes a second to sign up for PayPal and even if it is not a large donation every bit helps. Thanks again for all your hard work and kudos for the great programs you are making. I will keep tring the Reports program and see if the players pics and best players show up at the end of the season. Is this program like an Almanac because I miss the 6.5 Alamanac feature
Thanks Mark

Just tried the updated program and all I have to say is WOW, this works great. I now know I have a player that has 30 straight saves. And the Wins are working correctly, I have a pitcher with 8 straight wins. Thank you very much this is a great program
