Teoscar Hernadez's fielding ratings, which grade as above average in the game, seem a bit high for someone who finished with the 6th worst DWAR last season.

Can't help but notice as a Jays fan, as especially the Morales move was in part motivated by being able to play him at DH sometimes

Elvis Luciano is also not coded as rule 5 - He can be freely moved up and down the minors.

And i'm not sure if it's possible, but it does not show Tulo and Russ Martin's salaries that the Jays are taking on for this season.

Small error I noticed for players in the Marlins system: on the little stat screen that pops up when you hold the cursor over a player, players who played for the Marlins GCL affiliate incorrectly show their stats as occurring for the Marlins DSL affiliate.

Hopefully that makes sense I can try and post a screenshot if it doesn't

Unfortunately we cannot control where the AI puts players when you start a new game. Even if we list him on the Mets ML roster, the AI may move in down to Syracuse, you will have to manually make that change if you want him in the majors (assuming you are playing as the Mets).

Just cursory look at Cardinals shows that Wong defense isn't rated as high as it should be as he was a GG finalist last year. Also I reported last year that Jose Martinez 1b defense was too good, and this year the same... he is terrible at 1b.

SP Bryan Mitchell was DFAd and will likely clear waivers/be sent to AAA
RP Luis Perdomo was optioned to AAA
2B Esteban Quiroz is not on the 40-man roster
2B Jose Pirela was optioned to AAA
SS Allen Cordoba is not on the 40-man roster

People who should be there

SP Nick Margevicius is not technically on the OD roster, but he will start the third game for the Padres
SP Chris Paddack is the 4th starter in the rotation
RP Trey Wingenter made the OD roster
SS Fernando Tatis Jr. made the OD roster
SS Greg Garcia made the OD roster

Positions that are wrong

3B Fernando Tatis Jr should be a SS
SP Robbie Erlin should be a reliever
3B Wil Myers should be a LF
SS Manny Machado should be a 3B
The Padres are not using any openers so Eric Lauer and Matt Strahm should not be listed as followers by default

Ratings disputes
Wil Myers has played in the outfield more than any other position; his LF and RF ratings should (IMO) be at least 55, and his CF rating should (IMO) be at least 40. He is now over a year removed from playing 1B, and while he was a good defender there I believe his rating should be decreased to at least 65 (from 70) from the lack of "practice" there. I'd also like to mention that I believe Wil's personality ratings border on character assassination. Low leader? Sure, maybe. He didn't do well with that pressure on him. Low loyalty? Where do you get that from? I'm not making an argument for "high" loyalty but the dude has never done anything to imply the contrary. Low adaptability? Gimme a break. The man has changed positions for the Padres like 5 times without any complaint and been at least average everywhere but third. AND LOW WORK ETHIC?! Take my point about the low adaptability, and add to that the fact that he was told to gain 50 pounds over the 2017 offseason and DID IT. He ALWAYS gives it his all on the field and leaves EVERYTHING out there. Ridiculous.

Just a couple notes about my experience trying to start a new Live game..

1) the first time I tried, I made a custom game, chose all my Live settings (starting Opening Day), then at the final step, went through the Advanced Settings. After the game was created, it seemed to have forgotten my Live settings, and I started on March 7th. I had all images pre-generate, so I don’t know if that process made a difference.

2) the second time, I avoided going into Advanced Settings, and the game loaded on the day I wanted (the 27th in this case). I have done the ‘force load game data’ a few times, but the contract example in Markus’ patch release post, DeGrom’s contract, is still not there. Others such as Jiminez and Trout are, so i’m not sure if that’s just a general omission.

My game is on the .29 release, on Mac, fyi.

Anyway, no major problem here, and I’m happy to get the Live game going, just a couple of notes as I said

Went to find Tom Murphy who was traded to the Mariners recently and his transaction history showed this. He was also not assigned to the right team in the Live Start

Before the last update, this option of pitching would have the starter (opener) go 1 maybe 2 innings, however since the last up date my opener is going 4 innings + , 80 pitches for relievers, etc...I don't believe this is working as intended.

Unfortunately we cannot control where the AI puts players when you start a new game...no matter who we put on the 25 man roster in the editor, the AI will change it as it sees....been this way for years, so you will have to manually update the roster yourself when you begin the game.

Also, fwiw, Jerad Eickhoff isn't hurt, to my knowledge - he's just been optioned to start the year.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having an AI if you tell it what you want it to do......if they made it so the starting rosters were what we have in the editor, as soon as you hit "Next Day", the rosters would all be shuffled. So it's actually easier for the user to make the moves manually if they want to start the team they're controlling to reflect the actual opening day roster.

His injury occurred after the initial release of the rosters....it should be reflected in the next patch.
