"Shop Player Around"

Is it just me or does shopping a player take forever? I'm currently playing 1990 with full minors enabled and it takes close to 5 minutes to shop just one player.

I would have to say this option goes about 10 times faster for me in this year's game. I was quite shocked as it always took like 30 seconds to shop a player for me in ootp16...now it takes like 5 seconds un 17

It is my favorite update this year. Last year it took forever and now it zips right through for me

I noticed if a player is likely more desirable to acquire in a trade, shopping him takes longer.

One thing I've noticed is every time I shop a player, his morale drops. Players in a good mood become upset, and players who are upset become angry.

Is there a way to disable this particular element without turning off morale completely?

No problem with speed here. It's been zooming along. Have to wait maybe 20 seconds when its grinding out a bunch of offers but that's to be expected.

So far, I notice it does seem to be longer, but the number of offers has greatly expanded. I see that as a trade-off.

The quality of it is good, and as I've tried it more and more, performance seems to be sporadic. Occasionally it will take upwards of a minute to a minute and a half, and others it just seems to fly by. I cant really make any ties over who or why..

Echo the morale thing. Shouldn't you be able to check with other GMs about their interest in a player without him knowing? Or at least a decent chance. The auto morale hit makes me hesitant to explore opportunities.

Yes it would seem that in real life, the player wouldn't necessarily know that management is shopping him around.

I had the speed shopping problem and rebooted the machine and it fixed it. It must be a memory leak or something cause after a few hours playing it starts to lag again.
