When the mower breaks down, you go ballistic and start yelling it at like a manager at an umpire. You slam your hat down, kick dirt and grass on the tires, run over and make hand motions at just where it stopped cutting and where it was still cutting good, point at it with your finger a mere inch from the motor while still yelling and then top it off by throwing your lawn furniture off the patio and into the yard before disappearing into the house.

When you’re looking at a real life box score while thinking to yourself, “why didn’t (insert OOTP player name) start?”.

When I was in the Eastern time-zone, I would often listen to my home-town team on the radio, while of course managing my home town team while playing out games in OOTP. There were a couple times where I was getting a bit tired, and confused the in-game situations between the two.

Ways you know you're in to OOTP too much
When you are playing OOTPB while watching your MLB team on TV and you're getting rather confused.

In my game, a home team player just hit a double - why isn't the crowd reacting? Oh, on TV the other team is up.

Later, the crowd starts roaring. I look to my monitor and see no one on base. What's up? Oh, on TV a home team player just homered.

This balancing act requires greater agility of mind than I possess.

When you have to buy an external hard drive because your almanac has gotten too big.

When i go to sleep at night sometimes i think about an upcoming player contract of a star player in my fictional league and go through the negotiation process in my head if i was the player as well as the GM.

Not OOTP, but I still have a binder full of stats from Earl Weaver Baseball from 30 years ago.

Tim Teufel put up a hell of a season for me

Wish i had saved mine from Microsports pro league football 95, pro league baseball or Lance Haffner games. I still have microsports plf 95 but i havent played it since 98. I would probably have to use an emulator and i dont dont want to mess with it. I dont know why i keep it but maybe someday. I still have a copy of APBA Baseball for Windows from like 1993.

Anyway i printed out stats from my current league. I started in 1871 and i am up to 2014. I printed out stats up to 1884.
Think i'm gonna have to go back to office depot and buy paper in bulk.

Also when you are lying in bed getting ready to go to sleep and you stay awake designing a new league logo, team logos or team jerseys.

Even worse, when you neglect the lovely lady lying next to you in bed for OOTPB.

Hee hee I still have a pile of 250 post-it notes that I created (one per player) for Earl Weaver that I kept stuck up on a big wall. Used them to help keep track of protectable players in each year's equivalent of a Rule 5 draft...
