Questions about historical minors
1. when the historical minors appear in 1919 (Texas AA) 6 of the 8 teams are not affiliated with anyone. What happens to those players? How do you get to use them?
2. If i associate those teams with a ML team, the players become part of the ML team. But does associating them affect the league structure and player availability down the road? i'm starting with 1901, adding some minor leaguers and Negro League players manually. They go into the reserve pool of the teams once the rosters are full. i am pretty certain if there are no minor leagues associated with a team, that pool stays in effect, even if other teams have minors. 3. If i associate one of the unassociated teams with say, NY Yankees - the players in the pool would go into the AA team, correct? And question is, what happens to those players if the team becomes part of another franchise? sorry for all the questions, but 17 is great, just hanging me up on this one thing, and the historical minors was one of the main reasons i jumped in on it. thanks for any help. It's appreciated.
