Achievement Descriptions

One of my players was recently called out for achieving an 'Immaculate Inning' which led me to wonder what this meant. Is there anywhere to see what achievements are possible and what the criteria are for earning them?

Some are obvious but then some are not so clear.

ERA Crown easily understood
Hi-Def Inning not so easily understood
Throw a Maddux sounds good but not really sure what it means other than a good pitching performance.

"Immaculate Inning" is striking out the side on 9 pitches.

I agree, many descriptions leave much to be desired in the world of clarity.

As an aside, as a former pitching coach, I always felt that a true immaculate inning should be three outs on three pitches. Much more economical and contributes to pitching deeper into games.

From a pitcher's perspective, I've always thought a truly "perfect" game would be one of those 27-pitch games you hear about.

Imagine the number of perfect games broken up by the 27th guy taking a strike right down the middle...

I kid, I kid...

That perfect game wouldn't get past my first, or second-if I was leading off, at bat.

Had to Google "hi-def inning".
Not a fan of that name
