League Events Are Out Of Synch: Not According To Schedule

Keeping it simple:

Is there any way to edit the Events schedule?... mine is out of synch.

The AI did the schedule... 20-game season was scheduled for 20 straight days... beginning March 4 and ending March 24.

This is not what I wanted so, I deleted the schedule in the Schedule Editor and manually entered the schedule I wanted... 20 games, Sundays only, for 20 weeks.

I manually edited the schedule in the Schedule Editor... all the games are there.

My league starts on March 5.
The end of the season is July 15... only play.one game a week on Sunday.. 20-game schedule.

But I see on the Events schedule that the season will end on March 24... just 20 days after the season starts. (see the image on the left)

The image on the right is taken from the Schedule Settings.

Is it possible to edit the League Events?
They appear to be out of synch at this point.

The league date right now is March 1... just 3 days before the start of the regular season.

I'm afraid the season will end before I play all the games in the schedule editor.

Hope there is a way to edit the League Events.

I've use a few custom schedules to only play games on weekends. I always have to go through the various league events and schedule them to my liking. The all-star game (despite that being an element of the schedule), the draft, trade deadlines, the roster expansion, all seem to always schedule themselves way too early. Luckily you can reschedule them in-season. (League Settings\Options or League Settings\Rules for most of them)

Did you sim 1 day after editing your schedule/events?

If not, do so. League events will then display properly.

I was in the first day of preseason when I redid the schedule... I have simmed several times since then, but still the league events are out of synch with the revised schedule.

Boy, I hope you are right.

I have redone this league three times over the last week and it always ends up with the league events our of synch with the new schedule.

Going to give it a try right now.

Thanks for the help.

I went to the League Settings > Options... there is no place I see where you can edit the League Events schedule.

You can edit the League Schedule.

Is this the screen where you edit League Events?

I just noticed you said "Luckily you can reschedule them in-season".

I am in the preseason... if I go to the first day of the season... then go to League Settings > Options, will I be able to edit League Events?

Hmmm, mine always sorted itself out when I changed things and simmed a day.

I believe you can edit the events by going to the news section from the drop-down menu and then select 'League Events'.

My screen looks like this, here is where you edit the all-star game date:

And this is where the trade deadline, draft date are. (I should note this is 19 but I didn't see a change in 20...)

I've successfully edited all of these during the season. I'm wondering if your issue is editing the schedule via OOTP itself rather than importing a schedule during pre-season? I am anything but an expert, mind you.

I went to the manual.

It says that you can access League Events:

League Menu >News> League Events Tab

Where is the League Menu?

Click on your league name (to the left of your team name). "News" is a few choices down.

A HUGE THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.

EUREKA!

I FOUND IT.

I am so happy... you guys have saved my very special North Island Recreational League... I had given up on it... it was dead in the water, so to speak.

Now there's a chance I will save it.

I always run very complex and quirky leagues... I never just play the game in default mode.

Thanks for the advice anyhow.

Now figure out how to monetize your leagues, and let us all know exactly what you did.

Thanks for your help... couldn't have done without you.

I'm been playing since OOTP3 and never once had any reason to change the League Events... never knew it was there.
