Wagner Family "THE Hockey Family"

From a lower middle class family in Gas City, Indiana come the next generation players

13 year-old right handed centre Vincent Wagner a young man with ungodly ability to read the opponent defense and singling out their weaknesses. He is a modest child who wants to use his hockey skills to help him receive a college scholarship and maybe one day to the NHL but right now he wants to get that degree

10 year-old left handed Left Winger Travis Wagner goes into every shift with the same mindset, score as many goals as he can. He doesn't care for the physical game of hockey he just wants to get to the net and score. He knows he has the skill to make it to the NHL and wants to take the fastest track there

8 year-old goalie George Wagner was forced into the net at a young age by his older brothers. Since then he has made it his life goal to stop not only his brothers from ever scoring but anyone who attempts to take a shot on him.

2017-19 Vincent

After playing just two seasons with the Indiana Jr Fuel bantam squad Vincent Wagner put up 204pts 124 of those points came from assists. Because of his phenomenal play, Vincent took a scholarship opportunity to play hockey at the prestigious Tabor Academy in Marion, MA. His family also all moved there

Not to be out done, Travis put up 212pts with the INDY Jr Fuel Bantams scoring 90 goals through his two years and will be playing one more year in Bantams but with the South Shore Kings Teir 1 Bantam team before attending Tabor Academy himself

Only playing one year with the same bantam team, George now has to leave his friends and continue his career in Massachusetts also playing with the South Shore Kings

(unfortunately couldn't get George's stats will upload them when i find them)

2020 Update: Separation (Vincent and Travis)

Coming to a new team is hard, going to a new team in a new state on a scholarship, thats even harder. Vincent took all this pressure and pushed it aside by putting up 55pts in 30 games going up against the best players in New England as a FRESHMAN. This outstanding season came with a great reward as Vince was drafted 1st overall in the 2020 USHL draft by the Des Moines Bucaneers. His family once again uproots their lives as their dad Michael started his own plumbing business in Boston that exploded into a national corporation finally putting the family into the upper class and not having to worry about money.

Playing for the Kings helped offensive phenom Travis develop his game even more as he was coached by some of the best coaches in the US. Travis made his opponents look silly, putting up 119pts against the opponents. Though his whole family moved again to Des Moines, he stayed behind and accepted his scholarship to Tabor, though he wants to play in a junior league as soon as possible.

The South Shore Kings Tier 1 bantam team was not only blessed with one Wagner, they lucky had another one in the net back stopping this outstanding team. George won 25 of his 34 games with a GAA of 2.21 and a SV% of .929. George was starting to settle in with his new team and new friends but unfortunately once again he has to move because of his older brother Vince. This makes George angry and lash out at Vince causing both brothers to refuse to talk to each other ever again.

2021-22 Update: The Rift Grows (Vincent)

After two years playing with the Des Moines Buccaneers, Vincent's life long dream comes true, playing NCAA hockey. His first season was very great but not to the standards he's become to be known for only putting up 96pts but he turned it around in his final season and put up 102pts and accepted a scholarship to attend Clarkson University and is currently ranked 4th on the Futures list for the 2023 NHL Draft. Once again his family is moving, this time to Postdam, New York, to be able to attend all his games and be closer to their other son Travis or so they thought.

Travis played two years at Tabor wining back to back National Prep School Championships. For the first time in his career he was unable to upstage his brother in points. In his two years he only put up 48pts each year. On the personal level he was able to land himself a girlfriend but landed himself in deep **** by accidentally getting her pregnant. Unable to bear the responsibility of fatherhood, he forged his parents signatures and signed with the Powassan Voodoos cutting all ties with his family and girlfriend.

After two years with the Jr. Buccaneers, George was not able to post the same numbers as he did with the South Shore Kings. It wasn't his fault, the level of play wasn't the same in Iowa as it was in Massachusetts. But George didn't blame his teammates, he blamed his oldest brother Vincent for making him constantly move. Not willing to move again to New York, he and his parents finally came to an agreement where his parents are willing to send him to Sweden to train with the same team his idol, Henrik Lundqvist, trained with at the same, Rögel BK, and will be playing for their U14 this season. And yes he and Vincent haven't spoken to each other since moving to Des Moines.

2023 Update: 2 Drafts 1 Rivalry

Washington Capitals GM Brian Maclellan walks up to the podium and says " With the 2nd pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, the Washington Capitals are proud to select, centre from Clarkson University, Vincent Wagner." Just like that Vince's childhood dream came true because of a great season putting up 47pts in his freshman campaign and was also the highest draft pick out of Clarkson since Craig Conroy. He decided to stay at Clarkson for the time being having made some great friendships and wanting to receive a education before pursing a career in hockey. He was able to share a great moment with his mother and father but both brothers did not make the draft or even congratulate him.

Travis was also picked 2nd overall but in the OHL Entry Draft but by the Mississauga Steelheads. This come after a 86pt season and a Dudley Hewitt Cup but falling short in the Royal Bank Cup tournament. He automatically signed with the Mississauga as soon as they drafted him wanting to gain more attention by NHL Scouts. His family still haven't heard from him but they do text and call him everyday. His GF has no idea where is but have given up hope he will come support the family. Their child was born, a healthy boy.

The minute he stepped of the plane, George was with culture shock, on and off the ice. His older sister, Melina Wagner 21, is there to look after him and receiving money from the their mom and dad every month. He posted up some great numbers with 14-1-3 record and a 2.83 GAA and a .906 SV%. He stayed in Sweden to receive some extra training during the NHL Draft. He will continue to play the U14 team this upcoming season.
