All Star Game

As I mentioned in a reply on another post I have finally got my historical sim going the way I like. No firing this GM, but have full free agents etc...

As I have now entered the 1900s I have noted a couple of things.

1. There is no All-Star game. It is not scheduled, and thus there is no voting on the team. Reading through similar dynasties in that forum, this is normal... But is there a historical reference for this to happen? (like the cancellation of the World Series etc) Does it restart later in future years?
- edit - Since 1871 there has been an All Star game as part of the sim, it has disappeared for the last few years. Just wondering if it was intentional or I may have broke something? Maybe I need to recheck settings....

2. The scheduling is a little funny. I am getting double headers and it appears that the Spring Training stops in the same day as the Opening Day game... You play 2 games in one day, one in ST one in regular season? Has anyone else seen this or is it a glitch? Worse, have I inadvertantly done something?

Thanks for any response to this OOTP/Baseball in general newcomer.

Adjust the start of your reg season schedule using league options/function/edit schedule.

The scheduling up to 1900 or so had been fine, it changed with the loss of the All Star game... Which is now tending to look like I have broke something unintentionally with the settings...

Scheduling pre-1901 is fictional even in a historical league, it includes an all-star game. Scheduling beginning in 1901 is real and does not include an all-star game until 1933.

I was wondering about that.
