The Forest City Owls are a new team for 2008 in the summer collegiate Coastal Plain League. They are, in fact, the relocated Spartanburg Stingers.
Meanwhile, the New Bern River Rats of the same league have suspended operations for next season, due to ballpark issues.

Bo owns a multi-sport facility in Illinois. IIRC it's named after him.
