Your work has been greatly appreciated by me, and I look forward to the continuation of the alphabetized files! As a neophyte who loved the board game, I just started plowing away at my fights without regard to building careers. After reading all the posts on various universes, I need to figure out what I am going to do. It may well be that certain fighters that I've thrown in against good competition, like Jerry Quarry and Oscar Bonavena, will need to pad their career record after having a bad manager who didn't bring them along slowly.
In any event, I'm looking forward to your Ps and Qs, and the rest! Thanks again! mikehoudini |

I am not really into padding fighters too much but that is a realistic part of boxing. I have so many fighters all going in my universe that most fighters end up facing the scrubs "1", "2", and "3" rated fighters anyways. Those scrubs just outnumber the real highly ranked fighters so it ends up like that as I auto-sim. The fighters that are in the top 25 now, just happened to find their way to the top without any padding of schedules. I would let Quarry, Bonavena and any other big name, highly rated fighter match up against a few punching bags to get their confidence and record back up. Thanks for the kind words again. Just a suggestion, keep playing your uni the way it is right now but get everything ready for when the new TBCB3 comes out and then start fresh with another game. I am pretty far along in my HW universe right now, but I am going to start another one when the new release comes out. The only reason I am going to do this is because the groupings of organizations and groups will be much easier to keep track of rankings for all the titles, regions and countries. Right now I have to do a lot of paperwork. That is one reason that I created all the fighters from different countries. This allows me to fill up a country like the Ukraine with over 50 fighters so that I can have a Ukrainian HW title besides all the major titles. Anyways, have fun with the files. |

Good words of advice, Btown! I think that, having read so many good threads, i've hit Analysis Paralysis, and its time to move forward. Playing with the existing version while waiting for the new one will give me some trial and error experience. I'm leaning toward having fighters by decade, with some non-heavyweights, and having some time periods where fighters from one decade can go against those from another.
With this game, the possibilities are endless! As you've shown with the number of posts you've had in 3 to 4 months. My boxers are anxious to fight so, once I change their existing fight dates to 1957 or so, I'll get back into it. The fun has just begun! mikehoudini |

Jody Ballard
Hi,
Are these picture files? I have TB 1.9. I've never been able to find a pic of Jody Ballard. Not sure how I open the files you've posted. Thanks for any help, Brad. |

Brad
They are not picture files They are fighter files. They were created on more recent versions of the fame than 1.9 and won't work with your game Best place to look for pics is in the mods photo thread. Use the forum seach function and search in the 1970-1070 picture thread for Ballard
