Sorry, CD... I don't care too much for your latest caps... your taste in colors are not mine... don't care for your textures either.

I prefer traditional baseball colors on jerseys and caps.

I like Home White Jerseys and Away Gray Jerseys.

That is not your taste.

Just make them way you like them... and don't worry if no one else likes them... it's your league... do it your way.

CD, just keep the strong faith you have in Jesus.
He is in charge of the world and He will take care of his sheep.

Romans 8:28 New International Version (NIV)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

I hope one day Jesus will grant you the desires of your heart.

My favorite teams, in terms of real MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, (technically in Arizona, but always from St. Louis in my mind, at least) Cardinals, Philadelphia 76'ers (although I never cared for Allen Iverson's antics, among others), and the St. Louis Blues. I started following those teams in the 1980's during the years of Bruce Sutter (my all-time favorite player, although Albert is definitely in my top ten, if not top five, of Cardinals baseball players that I've seen play, albeit not necessarily in person), Neil Lomax, Julius (Dr. J) Erving, and Mike Liut, to name at least one player from each of my favorite real-world pro teams.

You mean Michael Jordan, don't you? You must have confused the two with your interest in both sports and music, I think.

Scherzer is actually from the St. Louis area, in fact. He went to Parkway Central, if I remember correctly.

My now-deceased paternal grandmother lived in the St. Louis area, so that's probably a major reason I tend to favor the St. Louis teams, instead of the Kansas City teams, for example. She used to send me stuff related to the Cardinals periodically.

I still believe that the Astros are in the wrong league, as are the Brewers. Unfortunately, now unless things get put back as they should be, we'll never have a chance to see another Brewers-Cardinals World Series, or at least not in reality, that is.

I still often think of the Nationals as the Expos, not the Nationals, even though I know they relocated to Washington about fifteen years ago permanently. For certain other franchises, my thoughts often may follow that sort of thinking line, in truth.

Yes, I know the Dodgers and Giants, for example, have been in California since the 1950's, and the Braves and Browns are no longer in their classic locations, among others, but I still often think of certain teams as being from certain areas, even though many teams have been in their current locations for decades now.

I don't know why I wasn't born earlier, exactly, if I ever will in this life, but God must have had a very good reason, at the very least, for making it so that I was born when I was, and not earlier or later. I mean, our God is perfect, you know. Maybe when I see Him face-to-face, He'll tell me why I was born when I was and all.

Will talk more later, I'm sure, if possible and all. Thanks for your commentary and all, Eugene. CD out.

CD, as far as your writing skills... just use the things you do well in your writings... and don't try to do the things that you are not good at.

One thing I find in my writing is that it is good to write several drafts.
Write it down as a first draft... then revise it... and then revise it a third time.
I think that is one of the key elements in good writing.

I think you try to cover too many things in your writing.
You need to limit your subject material and stay on subject... your writings are not focused... you just ramble on and on... with no goal in mind.

I focus on the Islandian Pro Alliance and I cover it systematically each season... I just report what happens each year... I don't report on what the future of the league will be like... I will cover the future when I get there.

I report on the IPA year-by-year... in chronological order.
You should do the same thing... focus on one league and one season at a time... and just report on each season as you play it.

Your dynasty writings are not organized... you do not consistently report on your league with a consistent format... it is hard to get interested in your leagues because of this.

One of my favorite chapters in the Bible is Philippians 2, by the way, Eugene. I especially like where it says that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Of course, I have other favorite passages and chapters in the Bible, but I especially like that bit that I just mentioned.

And you are right, in that everything will work out according to God's plan, one way or another, in this Universe, as He sees fit for it to. And He does take care of those who are His, no matter what may happen to His people in this life, as long as they are His. This is one, though certainly not the only, reason that I trust Him as much as I can in my human weakness, to provide not only for me, but for those around me, et cetera, for sure.

Will talk more later, I'm sure, if and whenever possible. Thanks for your friendship and all, Eugene. CD out.

CD, you don't need any help making jerseys if you did them all the way you did Shmala and Olsonton.

These are very nicely done... you matched the colors very well on both of them... using three colors usually looks better than four or five colors.
I would use these jerseys.

However, I have just a few suggestions... I am a Lexus people... always striving for "The Pursuit of Perfection"... that's the Lexus advertising slogan:

On the Zookeepers, you need to move the lettering toward the center... you can't see the "Z" or the "S" because the black side stripes interfere with them.

Or you could just remove the black side stripes... that way you could see the "Z" and "S" better.

On the Shmala jersey: the "A" letters have a small gray line extending from both A's... I think you made the letters or the trim colors too large... those lines should not be there... it would look better without the small extensions on the A's.

You could also improve the Shmala lettering... Use a lighter shade of gray on the lettering trim and it would have better contrast and be more readable.

I'll keep working on Shmala's set, but I'm not quite satisfied with its uniform set at least as of yet. I'm still looking for the proper shades to use for them. I'm trying to get shades of black, silver, and orange that are sufficiently different from any shades of certain colors that other teams may use either before 1901 or after. I decided to create an orange alternate for them featuring a simple Z for Zookeepers. I'm thinking that once the Zookeepers rebrand to the Bears, perhaps a similar alternate with a B instead of a Z might be a good idea for them.

Olsonton's main colors will ideally be some shade of black, some shade of gold, and some shade of red, but I'm still looking for shades that will be different enough from other teams in the SBC, SRL, CKU, and/or SHU, if they're not already sufficiently different from them. The Explorers will eventually rebrand to the Vikings as already mentioned earlier in the thread.

I still have to do caps, at least, for Olsonton and Shmala, of course. And Amjasi and Benclimil still need full sets of items. Amjasi will be primarily using navy, yellow, green, and white as its main colors, ultimately, while Benclimil will be primarily using red, white, and brown as its main colors, in the course of time. I still have to determine the proper shades of the aforementioned colors for both teams' ultimate looks, however.

I was thinking perhaps of making a plaid alternate at some point for the Farmers and/or Hornets, but I've not figured out whether that might work well here just yet. What do you think?

I'd also like to make versions of each team's uniforms with logos on them on the left chest as a person might wear them, in terms of the jerseys, and/or on the caps, but I've not figured that out yet either. For instance, I was thinking of having a Scholars logo that had a bat crossed with a scroll or a quill on it, but haven't figured out how to do that yet.

Will write more later, I'm sure. Thanks for your input. It is much appreciated. CD out.

P.S. Do you have any favorite Bible passages and/or chapters, and what do you think of the KJV version of the Bible, for example? Just curious, that's all. CD out.

The King James version uses archaic language... the meanings of some words in it have changed over the years.

My wife has taught Sunday School for 50 years... her favorite Bible translation is the "New Living Translation"... the "NLT".

Slaabovians often wear very colorful clothing, or at least I've probably envisioned them as doing so for a very long time, I think. I have reasons for picking certain colors for teams, and they may relate, at least in part, if not entirely, to the original discoverers of what is now known as Slaabovia.

If memory serves me correctly, the original discoverers of Cirriddiqua/Slaabovia had certain colors related to their tribes/clans/families/whatever, and those colors became traditional ones for most, if not all, of their future descendants. And eventually, certain color schemes were used frequently for clothing of all kinds that they wore. Even after the first invaders/occupiers/colonizers came to find and control much of Cirriddiqua, as a matter of fact.

Even in the current times of the Slaabovian Republic, those colors are still commonly worn all over Slaabovia, especially during certain major national holidays. Holidays such as Wufazevir Day on January 25, Dovatha Day on February 11, and Opening Day on or around April 1 every year, for example. Yes, Slaabovia has a national holiday around that time of year when baseball season begins, or will by 1901 or so, at the latest. Other pro sports have not yet achieved that sort of status yet in Slaabovia, even as of 1901. And they won't for quite some time after then, if at all, either, I believe.

Thank you for your commentary. So do you have any favorite passages and/or chapters in the Bible? Just curious, that's all. CD out.

Just had another thought here. Although I don't think I have the necessary skill or ability yet, I wonder if sublimated lightbulbs, for instance, might help the Inventors' uniforms pop better somehow compared to how they currently look. What do you think?

For the Farmers, perhaps some sort of sublimated farm-related equipment or plant might work, I think, if it's possible to have them on at least one of the needed uniforms. Not sure yet what might be best to consider here, in that line of thought, but just wondering at the moment, that's all.

As for the other teams, I'm not sure yet either whether certain sublimated designs would help them look better. From what I've been able to tell so far, they may not work well on the lighter-colored ones, but I could be wrong about that, of course, Eugene.

Just a few more thoughts here about various team-related potential concepts for later use, to be sure. CD out.

Suggestions to improve these Farmers Jerseys:

R's on #1 Farmers Jersey have lines extending out from the bottom of the letters... I think you are overdoing the outline colors when this happen... the line extensions should not be there.
Don't use Red collar on #1 Farmers... make the collar Green or Blue.

The R's on #5 Jersey have the same lines in them.. they should not be there... you are overusing the outline colors.
Make the collar on #5 Farmers Green or Blue... I wouldn't use the White collar.

On Amjasi Jersey #3... what are the Gold extensions coming out of the left side of the Letter A?... and the Gold extensions coming out of the J at the bottom of it?
I don't think that is part of the font, is it?

The extensions may be part of the fonts at times that I am using, I suspect. Might have accidentally used the wrong color for one of the collars. Said red color might have been left over from one of the previous teams' color schemes, or I might have accidentally clicked on one of the default colors for that particular uniform element. Not sure at the moment, but I agree, the red should not be present on a collar here, most definitely, Eugene.

Collar's main color now has been changed on primary home uniform from red to green. Thanks for spotting the unintentional error there.

That's all for this post, I think. CD out.

I think I've found some sufficiently-workable colors for Benclimil at the present time, but I think I will still have to experiment a bit, once I start making their uniforms, of course. Will keep you posted. CD out.

Check your R's on two of the Farmers' Jerseys... you did not remove those lines on the second R.
Check Jerseys #4 and #5.

Nice colors on the T-Breds.

Color contrast is fine on the White Jersey.

But you need to work on the Dark Jersey lettering... the lettering gets lost on the dark background.
Make the main color of the letters white... or maybe try a very light tan or very light brown lettering trimmed in white.

Okay, maybe white lettering, then, on the road jersey might be better. Thanks for the input. Text color change made. CD out.
