Clubhouse morale

I started playing today. In season 5, after two championships in years 3 and 4, I begin to have clubhouse issues. Several players send me messages, but do not identify the specific player(s) who are problems. I looked at the Profile cards, but did not see anything obvious. I did, however, send a couple of questionable players down to the reserves. But it did no good.

Any suggestions?

. . . I think it also helps to have one or more players with high leadership, loyalty and work ethic ratings. Your bench coach can make matters worse, so check his profile.

If the team is performing badly, look for ratings about handling adversity. You might also check individual players for morale, checking for players who are upset (by team performance, own performance, clubhouse relations . . .)

How is the team playing?

Poorly. Missed the playoffs after winning the two previous championships. I fired the bench coach because his profile was iffy; I initially that solved the problem, but now it is back. Near the end of the last season I traded one guy who demanded to be traded, but the initial reaction was "perhaps you traded the wrong guy".

I am really stumped.
