Can't Begin Season

I have begun a game with the Ottawa 67s and was able to play through Pre-Season without any issue. Unfortunately when I got the season opener against Guelph, the game crashed and shut down. I have the game saved just before the Guelph game and however I try to get past it, it seems to crash and I cannot seem to figure out why.

Can you upload the save (instructions here)? We can take a look and try to see what's going wrong.

Oh yes of course. I've done so under the file name 'jbdkmv67s.zip'. I did have to remove the graphics folder though as it wasn't allowing me to zip the folder with the graphics folder in place due to certain characters (Non-English language) being used in some of the logo names.

Graeme Clarke's locked in your lines, but he's away on preseason tryout with New Jersey. It looks like his line spots didn't get cleared properly when he switched teams, we'll have to fix that. But you'll be able to advance without crashing if you replace him with someone else - you have a couple of empty lineup spots to dress a replacement in. You may want to save the lines (Action Menu, save lines) so you can restore them once he's back.
