Auction House Player Dump
There's been a huge dump of top players, many duplicates, into the PT 1.0/2019 Auction House all at once. They generally are priced cheaply with no Buy Now options and long (6-day-plus) auction times. Seems fishy to see 6-7 Anthony Rendons, plus multiples of other players (including Perfect 100 players - Sale, Betts, etc.), all get pushed at auction simultaneously. Thoughts?

I did see them earlier, but they seem to have all been taken down. More weird AH... stuff
edit: some of the historical diamonds are gone, other multiple crazy stuff still there. 7 Variteks Last edited by Abnerdoubleday; 06-28-2019 at 08:06 PM. |

If they were taken down, looks like they're all back up again. So many Perfect 100 players (the lesser value ones, mind you) all starting at $25K, all posted around the same time. Really ruining the AH this weekend. How did someone get access to all these cards all at once? A hack?

hardly anyone still plays 19 actively so someone just decided to fully quit and let their players go to someone actually playing. |

Uh, if someone was quitting... then they were holding onto 5 Sales, 5 DeGroms, 10 Rendons, 10 Freemans, etc. The AH was FLOODED with 100+ Diamond and Perfect cards simultaneously with the same auction end date/time and similar pricing and no Buy Now options. Ruined may be a strong term, but it did make it difficult to sort through the mess and hampered those trying to sell the same cards during this time period.
Take a look before you post and maybe you'll see what I'm talking about instead of weighing in with an uncurious, snarky, condescending answer. Perhaps it was OOTP who released a bunch of cards to auction to spur activity, but it WAS NOT NORMAL and it wasn't simply one bored player selling off all their cards. |

It's definitely something fishy. Selling cards WAY too cheap, all ending the same times. And a few I bid on were all almost instantly outbid like clockwork after they had been sitting there all day with no bids. And the next bids were not by a lot, like just enough to purposely jack the bidding price up
