make sure you get the e-sellerate copy for that ability. someone correct me if there's a workaround with steam. (a legal workaround, that is)

You can install the Steam version on more than one computer. But you can't be using more than one installation at the same time. For example, I have to exit OOTP19 on my PC before I can use the Steam version installed on my MBP.

Is that with all steam games?
Because I was able to play football manager on 2 different computers under the same account at the same time. All I had to do was make sure I was in offline mode and I had no issues.

offline mode won't communicate with their servers.. so, if a game has an offline mode, it would work for any # because it has no way to count it up and say "no, you can't do this."

i'm sure the software developer has the power over such options rather than a steam-based rule/policy for all software provided.. multiple games on your account and some work differently than others? yes = quesiton is answered.

sounds like ootp stays connected, otherwise it'd be a loophole if you could play offline and circumvent the restrictions in place.
