Turn off league evolution by default

It is simply annoying to turn it off manually all the time. And I would bet that a very small minority of us keep it on.

I think putting it as a checkbox option during the league creation wizard would be the best option.

That said, I'd much rather it off by default than on.

I agree 100%. I prefer it off by default, but if it's going to be on, it should be in a much more prominent place so that nobody misses it in the creation process.

My is no secret: implement a checkbox during the wizard creation AND a final follow up "are you sure" if using the Advanced for both League Evolution and Storylines.
In lieu of that, yes, default off, IMHO.

if you have it ON i think clear indications of the implications in the users note need to be highlighted.

as i was starting, and trying to figure out how OOTP worked, one year in my league evolved to reduce service time for Arbitration, which totally killed all my early rebuilding efforts, force me to trade half the guys i acquired because i was now way over budget. it almost made me give up on the game.... (not realising this was an option that could easily be turned off)...

Exactly. Whether you want it on or off, it can have a pretty adverse effect if you don't have it set the way you want.

It must be off. I just rescued a long running league from some corruption and with only minor data loss. I was shocked to find the recovered league had it on. I was pissed.

I wonder how it got turned on. I never have it on in any league.
