Junior prospect rights held in multiple leagues
I'm playing in the WHL, and was going to sign one of my prospects, and found he'd already been signed by a team in the OHL. Looking at the rights in the contract tab of the player page, I found that his rights were held by my team in the WHL, and Saginaw in the OHL. Looking in the editor, his rights also showed "free" in the QMJHL.
The prospect was out of Alberta, so by territory he should be locked to the WHL. Don't know why an OHL team was able to get rights to the player. |

Yeah, it shouldn't be swapping to the free rights for all leagues unless you sign and then release him. If that hasn't happened in this case, I'd like to have a look at that save if you can upload it.

Hmm. Looks like his OHL/QMJHL rights were wrong from the start of the game, so he was available to be signed if his WHL team didn't do it before he turned 16. I'm going to have to look through the data and see if that's happening to other unsigned junior players as well, we may need to do some across-the-board adjustments to keep that from happening at the start of a game.
