Ancient OOTP12 to OOTP20 Conversion
All,
I run an online league that has been using OOTP12. We are considering upgrading to OOTP20. Is preserving the league and getting it converted all the way from OOTP12 to OOTP20 feasible? Do you need to convert 12->13->14->15.....->20? Or can OOTP20 convert up all the way from OOTP12. Thanks, Scott |

OOTP 20 can only import the previous years leagues, 2019 version, so i'd guess you would need to have each version from 2012 to 2019 to get there. Will that league data even survive 8 imports? Each version is slightly different.
Maybe there is a better way to save league history almanac and import it, and just start everyone fresh with OOTPxx?

Thank you.
Yeah, that was my concern as well.....how convoluted will it be going through 7 conversions.... I guess the demo versions are all still available, so I could try... |

Try it, you will want to spend time checking each import.
Player histories - General History- Awards- Injury- etc Team Histories Manager Histories League Awards HoF Retired Players - Check their stats I have seen retired player stats disappear. You are going to see some rating changes over the course of upgrading. The Quality Control will be important.
