The Jays got back-to-back home runs by Jacoby Ellsbury and Devon Travis but still fell well short, losing 5-2 to the Yankees.

Aaron Sanchez left the game with a pain in his leg. It is unclear how serious it is.

The Blue Jays came out swinging and destroyed the Yankees, 11-0.

Cesar Puello knocked in 3 runs with a bases-clearing double. Teoscar Hernandez and Randal Grichuk both homered for Toronto.

Good news back about Aaron Sanchez. His calf strain is mild and he won't miss his next start.

Meanwhile I was offered a position with the Canadian WBC team. It is an honour to represent my country.

(NOTE: I have no idea how playing the WBC works... how do I get players?)

It seemed like every time you looked up, either Kevin Pillar or Justin Smoak were getting hit off the Jays. They led their new team, the Orioles, to a 10-3 win.

Chris Davis homered for the Jays against HIS former team.

Carlos Ramirez left the game with a sore shoulder. It looks like a short stay on the D.L. is looming.

For the second game in a row the Toronto starter left the game early with a physical ailment. This time both the Blue Jays 'pen and hitters did the job as the Jays beat the Rays 6-1.

Alex Cobb is not expected to miss his next start.

Aledmys Diaz homered for Toronto.
