How about having actual spring training games that you can manage or sim. Also non-roster invitees, 40-man roster, etc. Spring training stats included to help set up an opening day roster.
Also, a waivers system (DFA, outright assignment, etc.) and minor league options. More in-depth postseason stats, especially for pitchers, as right now you can only see how batters are hitting against him, no ERA, WHIP, IP, etc. Also, an option to turn the player editor off- I find myself cheating way too much An ability to edit injuries on the player editor page |

I have an iPad 2 and I've found that if it opens with the first screen upside down, it reorients itself after a few seconds.
Did it just start doing this on the latest iOS? |

Also, I think that starting pitching prospects should have less value, and relievers should have more, in terms of trading. Look at some of the moves that the Red Sox made at the trade deadline, Andrew Miller for Eduardo Rodriguez, a reliever for a starter, that's a type of trade that would never happen in iOOTP. I also think that there needs to be a way more in depth stats system, with many different stats such as batting average with RISP, with runners on-base, how individual players are hitting from different positions in the lineup, WAR, etc. so, basically a lot more stats, more like OOTP's stats depth. I set my lineups based on stats and it would be helpful to know how a particular player is batting with RISP, so I can figure out where I should put him in the lineup. The pitching stats need more as well, and the split statistics need to be easier to get to.

Season length
How about adding the ability to reduce the season length for fictional seasons? Maybe add them in increments of 20 going from 20-162?
