Heh...I agree the trading system isn't working properly. I am playing the 73-74 Bruins season and offered Toronto Andre Savard and Carol Vadnais for Salming and Turnbull and for whatever reason they said no...go figure

When I win in a shootout, my goalie doesn't get credit for the victory. I've had this happen a few times.

Nope(no easy way).

You could do it the hard way(in commish mode) and change the city and nickname of a team in another conference and with the player editor move each player one-by-one to the new team,while dispersing the players on the older team to other teams in the league. The bright side about this-you have just created an expansion team with the original team that moved over from the first conference to the other conference.

conference A team that wants to move----------> conference B(move players one-by-one w/player editor)

conference B-old team (disbands)

conference A-new expansion team(replacing team that moved)

Just to add too this:

I want to move the 1972-73 WHA New England Whalers to the NHL.

I plan to disband the 1972-73 Atlanta Flames and replace them with the Whalers(moving players one-by-one with the editor)

I then plan too replace the 1972-73 WHA Whalers with the expansion Boston Shamrocks.

I will take 2 players from each remaining WHA team and form the Shamrocks.

Wouldn't it make sense to replace your download version with the current one?

I downloaded the game yesterday, purchased a license and found myself unable to create a game because every time the game would crash (v1.0 on Mac OS X 1.8.4). After updating to 1.0.3 it worked.

It would definitely make sense to spare customers the initial frustration ;-)

2 way contracts for RFA are still screwed in this update. Go to change salary to 10% of the contract,say 990,000 in NHL 99,000 in minors and it reverts to 990000 even after hitting enter or offering.

I believe it is 160 x 160 ? Or 150 x 150 ? Either or, they both will work.

I've placed a couple of pictures of coaches in some of my Historical games. I've been using Photoshop with a transparent background around each individual. The size I'm using is 174 pixels Width x 150 pixels Height with 72 pixels/inch as my resolution. They work really well.

Trading is just a smidge wonky. Late draft picks and ancient players are way overvalued.

I think I read something about this a few weeks ago, but totally forgot what I read:

I miss some kind of rating scale to see in a quick and simple way which players that are playing good and so on... Is that something the developers are thinking about adding to the game in the future?

Also; is it possible to sim games faster? I can only change the speed up to x6 and the games are taking a bit too long time in my opinion.

And last; huge potential in this game. Can't wait to try out the Historical Mode when most of the glitches are gone KUTGW!

Why can't we get patch installers instead of having to reinstall over top of the existing game every time?

Because it's a 60MB game, not a 5GB game. It takes like 5 seconds to update anyway, it's not like you'd gain so much time.

Old save games aren't compatible, unfortunately at this point with most updates.

Most likely something went wrong with the installation and the databases got corrupted. So, the best thing to do would be to uninstall (remember to go to preferences on the start screen and unlicense the game first), then re-download and re-install to make sure everything's installed correctly.
