Release Time on September 3

Version 1.0 will be available for download tomorrow, September 3, at 4 PM (Central European Summer Time).

That's 3 PM in the UK, 10 AM Eastern Time, 9 Central, 8 Mountain, 7 Pacific, 12 midnight (on the 4th) Australian EST. And 10:30 in Newfoundland.

These files can be installed like previous updates, i.e. there's no need to uninstall/reinstall.

I would love to see an update on what is working/not working for initial release.

I expect they'll release a changelist as per usual at the time of release.

I hope they don't make that release with a straight face...wasting time on historical/custom leagues and leaving AI (the hardest part) of making a game like this till the very end. PROCRASTINATION!

I hope so, I'm still getting a lot of crashes while simulating. I'm yet to see a game that has crashed as many times as FHM (If that's the case with the final release)

And they're not just your typical crashes, they'll also ruin your whole save file. I can't imagine a final product crashing this much...

Sorry, with so many issues being reported, not sure how one final update will make all the issues go away.

I fear they are making a big mistake releasing this game with "known" issues and other game companies have had bad experiences when they did that. If newly paying customers buy a product without full disclosure of all the issues remaining, there will be a lot of outcry, which is a shame since I really want this game to succeed. It is one thing to release a game with unknown issues, but there are plenty identified issues in this forum which would suggest them releasing a game with this knowledge. Its extremely doubtful that any final patch will make this all go away after months and months already being in beta.

Guys, please, don't panic. The developers are working hard to address the important issues and there will be updates with bugfixes after the release. It's totally not like the game is released and now there will be no update for a year.

I don't think that is the point....although most people realize there will be future patches, especially for a version #1 game, just seems a number of people are reporting a number of different issues that have been noticed before release. People who purchase the game day one and have not been following the beta will not necessarily be receptive in issues knowingly being unresolved. Will the game order page provide any kind of notice to gamers of the existing issues?

One could argue what the rush of getting out the game is if there are issues to solve and I am not talking about minor issues. Other game companies have done this and the reception has not been good. It is one thing to release a game with not knowing issues exist, to me its another thing doing it knowingly. I personally don't buy the argument it is ok to do it just because it is a version #1 game and we should expect it to have issues. And future patches will be released to correct everything.....it has been months and months in the beta and issues still exist. People should be ok with receiving patches throughout the year to make the game fully playable?

I was a day one purchaser of the game when it went into beta and I will certainly stick with it, but I knew what I was getting into. Hopefully future game purchasers will be just as understanding. But if not, I completely understand their point of view since they expect a completed game as much as possible on release day.

Just hopping for other things to be turned on like League Structure and give the Computer job to do like move all Players draft by St. Louis on the Blues.
