Due to the G20 the Blue Jays played an entire series as the home team at Philadelphia. It was very strange.

That was a case where the series was transferred to another park. In that case Toronto was officially considered the home club, both for attendance and statistical purposes, from what I recall of MLB articles on the matter at the time. It's a situation where a club played its home games in an alternate park.

(Here is Retrosheet's listing of all such games since 1901. Interestingly, Retrosheet doesn't include the Philles-Blue Jays series, presumably because it occurred in a park involving one of the two clubs whereas the other examples it cites are where games were played in what might be called 'neutral' parks.)

One wonders why Tampa and/or Miami don't play home neutral site games rather than play 81 home games at nearly empty stadiums.

Rays played neutral series a few times in the late 2000s.
