In the past you were able to edit the injury file and remove career enders. I'm not sure if you still can or not and someone with more knowledge should be able to tell you exactly how, but I remember doing it in the past. I remember adding injuries to the file!

I know, I played around with that before, could never seem to remove them all, or they came back, or something.

I wanna say the code is 255 or 254. Whatever it is, I feel you need to change it to the other one. That said, I think it's been a good 10 years though since I've messed around with it (OOTP 5, I believe)

Back up the injuries.txt file before doing anything. Set the career-ending boolean values to 0 everywhere in the injuries.txt file. Reload your league or the game won't see the new file.

Then you'll get rid of most CEIs. Some may still happen because of injury setbacks though, I think.

You can always go under the editor and edit the player but I think you have to be playing commish mode to do that.
