Yes, it's probable. Saves from older beta versions are mostly incompatible with newer versions.

The Mac version doesn't work anymore. They company who did the serial-check has closed the connection. So I can't activate the game anymore.

But lucky this FHM game looks promising and all the fun can start all over again.

I had thought it was more that the EHM game wasn't compatible with an OS X update rather than eLicense closing its connection (although they did stop selling any new licences). I might be mistaken though. Either way, it is actually possible to run the Windows version of the game on the Mac (link).

Back on topic, I'm really looking forward to being able to do things in FHM that I couldn't in EHM; such as coaching in the NIHL-1 and being able to keep league structures and rules up-to-date in my saved game. Also, the knowledge that this is an actively developed game (as opposed to EHM, unfortunately) and being able to contribute to the direction and development of the game is really neat.

correct, EHM was a power pc application. the software that read those was dropped from lion. and i was sad.

That software was called Rosetta and yes it didn't install on OS X Lion and newer but I have a few Macs and thats why I downgraded one of them to OS X Snow Leopard just to try and play EHM again.

I rather not install Windows on my Macs. It's just not my type of software, I switched once for a reason.

Thats why i'm so excited about this project - I hope this will become a steady game for the future with a yearly upgrade.
