I started out as a Minnesota Wild fan but I am starting to like the St. Louis Blues more and more. I have been going to a Blues game at least once a season the past three years and I plan on going again this season. Just waiting for them to release the schedule so I can plan the game I want to go to. So I guess I am probably more of a Blues fan now than I am a Wild fan.

San Jose Sharks!

I started life as a Kings fan growing up in Los Angeles. Got a great gift when Gretzky came to town and it brought guys like Kurri, Hrudey, and the bunch.

Then joined the Army and decided I was never coming back to the cess pool that is Los Angeles (sorry to all my family and friends that still live there for that comment) so I decided to pick a team from scratch. Picked the San Jose Sharks who were just starting as an expansion team and thought it would be awesome to say I was with the team from day one.

Moved quite a bit but finally settled in Reno. Now guess which team is 4 hours away and on the local sports channel? It ended up being a great decision.

Well, a great decision except for seeing who hoisted the cup last year.

Eh it only took them roughly half a century. And it's good to see it didn't go right to their heads.

Always been a Quebec Nordiques fan will always be... even if the team is long gone. I don't care for the Avalanches (didn't even follow them after the transfer).

But Montreal is always a good team if you need something to laugh about...

Name me one professional team that hasn't "bought" their championships.

Every team that wins "bought" their title because they pay their players. Some teams pay more than others, some teams have the ability to pay more, but they ALL "bought" the title.

LOL...bitter much?

Just look at what the Jay are doing this year or Chicago in 2010 or...this list is endless...all sports are the same...

The trick is capitalizing on those expenditures least you look very foolish...

All right. I'll be the first (and possibly only) one. The New York Islanders. Let the flaming begin.

No flaming here - they had some gr8 teams at one time. Would be nice to see them rebound again.

Trottier, Bossy & Potvin - among my all time favourite players.

1993 was a long time ago and it was more a question of luck than anything else. The seventies are over so don't expect to see them reach that level anymore : no more team spirit, no local star (Richard, Beliveau or Lafleur type of stars) and no Sam Pollock to build a winning team via good trade.

Don't expect a Cup anytime soon... I'm 42 and I don't expect to see another one in what's left of my lifetime.

I have supported the Rangers ever since I watched them play my first trip to New York. Hockey is my second favourite sport to watch (behind hurling) and stay up late to watch the games here. Im really looking forward to taking over the rangers.

On average, males live to 81 in Canada...so do you really believe that in the next 39 years the Habs wont win or do you just have a flair for the dramatics?
